Internships

The professional internships of the Master’s programme are organized through a compulsory 6 ECTS-credit course, to be completed in the fourth semester, with a total of 90 practical hours.

The objective of the internships is to provide insight into the professional reality of different career profiles through immersion in the daily work of institutions and companies related to the sector, and aligned with the specific contents and objectives of the module.

Each student must contact the Internship Coordinator before beginning the internship phase. The coordinator will determine the specific guidelines for development: dates, type of tutorials, etc.

The monitoring of the internships is based on continuous assessment of the student by the Internship Coordinator through individual or group tutorials.

In the final stage of their training, Master’s students carry out internships within the design teams of leading companies in Galicia, as well as in national or international firms. These internships are unpaid, and students may choose the company in which they wish to complete their internship period, subject to the company’s acceptance.
